Bike Fit
Our bike fitting service is built around one core belief: the rider always comes first. We don’t just adjust bikes—we tailor every fit to your unique body, goals, and riding style. The result? Increased comfort, improved performance, and maximum efficiency, whether you're chasing watts or just enjoying the ride.
Step 1: Rider Interview & Physical Assessment
Every great fit starts with a conversation. We’ll sit down to understand where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you want to go. This is your time to share your cycling background, injury history, current discomforts, and goals—whether that’s pain-free endurance, race-day performance, or aerodynamic gains.
From there, we move into a comprehensive physical assessment. We evaluate your posture, foot structure, spinal alignment, and any muscular imbalances or asymmetries that may influence your position on the bike. Range of motion tests for key muscle groups—hamstrings, quads, glutes, and hips—help us understand your movement potential and limitations. We’ll also check for leg length discrepancies and foot mechanics, laying the foundation for a fit that respects your individual physiology.
This first step ensures that every adjustment we make is based on you, not just your bike.
Step 2: Foot Activation & Pedal Interface Assessment
The most overlooked aspect of bike fitting is also the most critical: the connection between your foot, shoe, and pedal. This is your foundation—where every watt of power begins. If it’s not right, everything above it suffers.
We start by checking your shoe fit, then assess cleat positioning, arch support, and the need for internal or external wedging. By aligning the foot correctly and providing proper support, we not only improve power transfer but can also significantly reduce discomfort further up the chain.
Step 3: Positional Interventions & Bike Adjustments
With a stable foundation under your feet, we turn our focus to fine-tuning your position on the bike.
We optimise your saddle height and setback, refine reach and handlebar drop, and assess the ideal handlebar width, crank length, and saddle type based on your body and riding goals. Every change is guided by data and biomechanics, not guesswork—ensuring that your position is efficient, sustainable, and tailored to you.
Step 4: Real-World Testing & Follow-Up
A fit isn’t truly complete until it’s tested outside—on your roads, in your shoes, under real conditions. After your session, we encourage you to ride, adapt, and feel how the changes perform over time.
Once you’ve had a chance to test the position in the real world, you’ll return for a follow-up check-up. This session allows us to review your feedback, analyse any lingering issues, and make final refinements if needed. Your comfort and performance are our priority, and this step ensures your fit continues to work for you beyond the studio.
